Youth Justice Panel Discussion

In support of the #RaiseTheAge campaign to raise the minimum age of criminal responsibility here in WA from 10 to 14 years old, the Amnesty UWA club are hosting a panel discussion with representatives from organisations working in the justice sector who are striving to improve judicial outcomes for young people caught up in the criminal justice system. Hear from panellists representing the WA Justice Association, Social Reinvestment WA and the Hello Initative and the work they do at this free event as we encourage students to sign the petition and support the campaign to improve the standards of our youth justice system in line with recommendations made by the United Nations. Light refreshments and snacks available are available too.
