A little bit about the International Students' Department
The International Students' Department represents the international contingent of the student body at UWA, and acts as an umbrella organisation for international students' associations and clubs on campus.
The International Students’ Department of UWA is the peak student body representing international students in the University and acts as an umbrella organisation for smaller international students’ associations and clubs on campus.
All full-fee paying international students are automatically members of ISD. We organise and subsidise an assortment of activities, sports, games, parties and trips. We also look after the welfare of all international students on campus by advocating on issues that concern international students. We are comprised of 4 sub-departments: Social, Welfare, Education and Public Relations.Check out the ISD blog >
Information on visas and migration agents can be found on the Student Assist pages of the website!
There's a few options when it comes to housing for international students.
Housing for individuals: we recommend looking into College Row or Campus Perth for student housing with options to include meals.
Housing for families (postgraduate): Forrest Hall can accommodate families, or check out the Student Housing Database maintained by the University.
