Spend a morning volunteering on the Chorus gardening team to support seniors, those living with disability or on the mental health recovery journey.
Many customers are socially isolated and volunteering your time helps people connect in the community. When you volunteer you can meet like-minded people, form new friendships, challenge yourself, learn new skills and make a huge difference to someone else’s life.

Date: Tuesday 18th May
Time: 8:30 - 1:00
Activity: Offering a helping hand in the garden of senior citizens seniors, those living with disability or on a mental health recovery journey.
Location: Meet at Guild Volunteering at 8:30 and travel to Carlise together (or meet onsite in Carlise, exact location TBA)
Activity duration: 9:00 am - approx 12:30 with a lunch break
What to wear: Volunteers must wear fully enclosed in footwear (e.g. runners, sneakers, boots, steel caps) and long sleeves and pants. We will provide sunscreen however you should also wear a hat for added sun protection.
