The effects of climate change are now hitting us at full force; with raging bushfires in NSW, California and now Perth; catastrophic cyclones and floods not seen in decades and rising sea levels forcing millions to relocate. The link between these disasters and the pollution caused by the fossil fuel industry have been known for decades, and yet world leaders year after year continue to pledge their loyalty to one of the world's most profitable industries.

Capitalism will not be able to get us out of this mess; every solution thrown up so far that works within the system fails to make a dent on climate change.
