UWA Guild Volunteering and UWA Careers and Employability present a joint workshop as part of National Volunteer Week and National Careers Week.

Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or want to learn more about the benefits of volunteering, this workshop will help you to understand, effectively communicate and leverage volunteer experience for future career development.

Facilitated by experts in the careers and volunteering sectors with guest speakers; this interactive workshop will enable students to understand the importance of the communicating values developed through volunteering experience to future employers. Participants will hear firsthand how volunteering is positively impacting fellow students and alumni academically, socially and in career development. Finally, participants will be guided through a skills matrix session to identify skills developed through volunteering and how to apply these to chosen sector.
