Get your hands dirty helping to stabilise the dunes, provide shelter and food for native animals, and combat climate change at local level.


We will working with The Mullaloo Beach Community Group for this project. The Mullaloo Beach Community Group Inc. has coordinated numerous community events involving volunteers in over a 1000 hours of volunteer effort to protect the biodiversity of the dunes of Mullaloo Beach.


Efforts focused on community engagement and education in hands on conservation work in weed management, planting local provenance seedlings, brushing to reduce erosion and collecting litter.


Details about the event:


Date: Monday 28th June


Time: Meet at Guild Volunteering at 9:00 am. We will travel together to Mullaloo and volunteer from 9:30 - 1:00 (with a half hour lunch break). We will return to UWA at 1:30 pm. 


Activity: Planting native species to encourage overall health of the beach and dunes.


What to wear: Wear comfortable clothes for manual labour. Long sleeves, long pants and closed in shoes. Bring a hat, water bottle and rain wear.
