Spend a day immersed in nature and improving our local eco system with Wirambi Landcare at Booragoon Lake (Melville).


Wirambi Landcare is a WA not-for-profit organisation focused on the preservation and restoration of Western Australia's unique eco-systems, through the rehabilitation of nature reserves and increasing public awareness of WA's flora and fauna to emphasise their ecological importance.

Getting There: Due to physical distancing requirements, Guild Volunteering cannot transport students to this activity which will be based at Booragoon Lake, Melville. All students are asked to make your own way to this activity location. The site is located along Aldridge Road, house number 64 which is a vacant block (mark red). You are allowed to park on the verge around Booragoon Lake.


Attire: All volunteers MUST wear long pants and enclosed shoes (e.g. runners, sneakers, steel-cap boots, etc). We also recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses and wet weather gear.  We encourage all students to wear sunscreen on the day.
