Venture x Enactus Grand Challenges Hackathon- Opening Ceremony

The 2-day Grand Challenges Hackathon is designed to be open for all students at the
University of Western Australia. The event will introduce students to the Grand
Challenges objectives and challenge them to think critically about the problems that
the UWA community face on both a local and global scale while providing an
opportunity to work in teams and come up with potential solutions. This is
supplemented by mentoring from industry professionals over the two days, which is
made up of industry alumni and strategic partners of both Venture and Enactus
UWA. At the conclusion of the program, students should feel refreshed with new
perspectives and insights, as well as feel empowered to explore their interests
through different channels and make real change.

Opening Ceremony:

Representatives from the Venture x Enactus working group will be present to
introduce the Hackathon and discuss the Format and requirements, as well as
ensuing opportunities that lie beyond. UWA representatives, as well as Grand
Challenges Champions will be invited to discuss the Grand Challenges.
