UWA Society for Creative Anachronism, The
A tournament to welcome new members of UWASCA. New members will get to see a demonstration of what armoured combat according to SCA rules, fought with rattan cane at full speed and power, is like. They will also get to take part in combat with foam "boffer" swords and fencing masks.
Historical arts & crafts and dancing will be run concurrently with the tournament for those less combat-inclined, as well as a barbecue at the end of the event.
