UWA Student Guild Info Session

This event's purpose is to provide UWA students with a holistic and thorough overview of the UWA Student Guild’s operations and highlight opportunities to get involved. We believe that this session would be incredibly important for first year students, as there are many students in that cohort who lack information on the Guild. These students can learn more about the Guild facilities they have access to, how current Guild operations are working to improve their student experience, and opportunities that they could pursue that may interest them. This session can also provide an alternative education platform to talking to individual OBs.

The event will also provide interested students with an idea of how the Guild operates by immersing them in the type of policy-making and ideas analysis that is a prominent part of council responsibilities. It will be very useful to attend for those interested in running as an OGC for next year.
