Uni Camp for Kids Retro Rave

Uni Camp for Kids Retro Rave is a social fundraising which is in collaboration with the Avenue Club in Claremont. The event will consist of DJs playing tracks from select eras throughout the evening starting at the 80s and moving to contemporary. The main purpose of this event is primarily to raise funds for upcoming Uni Camp for Kids events like our upcoming 3rd and 4th picnic in semester 2 as well as our January Summer Camp program in 2023! An additional purpose of this event is to provide a fun and social evening for both UCFK volunteers and students with the event also acting as a post-exams celebration. 

As the Avenue Club is a licenced venue they will be handling and managing the sale of alcohol on the night for which they will keep the profits from. Uni Camp for Kids will gain funds through ticket sales to the event which is through our eventbrite page and Facebook page. This has been a longstanding event and relationship with the Avenue as we have held multiple Disco en Blancs at this venue over the last five years.
