Join us for a talk from Alex Dawson, consultant for NetApp. Alex has 25 years experience in IT - starting as a LAMP developer, then a UWA Sysadmin, then as a data storage consultant for companies in Vancouver Canada, including Media and Entertainment, Genetics research, retail and others. Today, Alex lives in Perth and provides data storage and management consulting to UWA, BHP and RioTinto. We will be discussing how storage mediums work, as well as enterprise storage systems and attachment.
