SERCUL Blue Gum Lakebed Planting

SERCUL and FoBBGL's Blue Gum Western Lakebed Planting 2022. As a follow-up to last year's lakebed planting where the community successfully planted 40,000 wetland sedges, shrubs and trees, this restoration effort will be running again with another 20,000 plants to be installed during March and April this year. The heavy flooding at the site caused by last year's extraordinary rains has delayed our events by about a month, but there's enough dry ground that we're ready to begin soon. We'll need all the help we can get to restore the wildlife habitat potential of this lakebed. No prior experience is required, and everyone is welcome.
