QFin Panel Night

Panel Night is a networking and discussion event where representatives from leading quantitative trading firms visit UWA to share insights about the industry. During the session, professionals from firms such as Jane Street, Citadel Securities, SIG, VivaCoat, IMC, and Optiver sit on a panel and answer questions from students about quantitative trading, internships, recruitment processes, and what working in the industry is like.

The event gives students the opportunity to hear different perspectives from traders and researchers across firms, understand how these companies approach markets and problem solving, and ask questions directly to people working in the field. It also serves as a chance for students to network with firm representatives and learn about upcoming opportunities such as internships, graduate roles, and trading competitions.
