QFIN UWA

Quantitative Finance UWA (QFin UWA) is a mathematics, finance and financial technology club that affiliated with the University of Western Australia’s Societies Council in early 2021.


The club was established for three main reasons:

  1. To demystify and introduce the field of quantitative finance to Western Australia.

  2. To provide an inclusive platform for students interested in mathematics and finance to connect, collaborate, and gain practical experience in algorithmic and statistical trading.

  3. To connect Western Australian students with opportunities in global firms based outside of Perth.
