Petrology in the Pub

This is a science week event. We will be hosting two (one confimred) speakers in the UWA tavern to present a short slideshow about petrology and geology in general. This will be a fairly involved event, requiring major advertisment push to invovle all levels of the degree from first year through to Phd and staff. The main purpose of this event is to celebrate science week and expose new comers to the world of petrology. The event will be co-run with the School of Easrth Sciences and the Clarke Museum of Earth Science, hopefully drawing an external crowd (friends of the museum/ school etc).
