National Science Week STEM Excursion

This event invites high school-aged students to UWA to participate in National Science Week, partaking in science experiments and interacting with UWA science clubs. Experiments will be set up in a round-robin style, so students can spend an equal amount of time at each club and experiment. Science Union will be there to interact with the students and engage them in science experiments. 

Experiments run by Science Union- 

Lemon battery challenge-

Students will use lemons, zinc nails, copper wire, 4 D batteries, and small light bulbs to create a circuit to power the light bulb. Students will be timed and given points accordingly.
