MU Python Workshop 2

In this workshop series we take you on an interactive journey from Python newbie, to a full blown snake-charmer . Never coded before? We'd love to have you! Our goal with these workshops is to give you a solid overview of the Python ecosystem, as well as give you a good foundation in base Python and numerical computation packages within Python.

In this workshop (pt 2) we'll be going over two scientific computing Python packages that are used absolutely everywhere in the scientific community! Introducing numpy, a package for numerical calculations within Python, and matplotlib, a package to suit all your plotting needs!! With these two packages under your belt, you’ll be able to use Python for all your mathematical needs, whether it be running and visualising simulations, working with data, or brute forcing some maths assignment questions .

Oh, and did I mention FREE PIZZA??? I probably should have led with that to be honest
