This stall aims to promote human rights awareness among UWA students regarding Julian Assange. Amnesty UWA will engage in conversation with students about human rights violations against Assange, such as violations of freedom of speech, the right to a fair trial, the prohibition of torture and ending the death penalty. We will encourage students to sign petitions calling for the protection of Assange's human rights. We will also have a Spin the Wheel game at the stall where we ask human rights questions about Assange and reward students with prizes for correct answers. We will also provide the opportunity for students to sign up for membership to our club.
