Do you get overwhelmed or confused by constant and conflicting news on climate change?We are bringing together experts to cut to the chase and make climate change and climate policy accessible to students like you and I!This event will be a set up as a series of mini-lectures followed by a Q and A panel. Senior Lecturer in atmospheric sciences, Dr. Jatin Kala, will start by giving us an overview of the physical science behind climate change (and we can nerd out just a little bit), Professor Petra Tschakert, will lay out the importance of future-oriented thinking (even if you can't decide what you want for dinner!), and Bill Hare, CEO of Climate Analytics, will explain the role of Natural Gas in the transition to renewable energy (disclaimer: not main character energy).All levels of background knowledge are welcome, along with lots of questions to kick off the weekend with an inquisitive bang!
