The main aim of this event is to promote cross-cultural understanding and to showcase the diversity in UWA and its youth. In times like COVID, where the whole world is isolated from each other, it is vital to increase cross-cultural awareness by showcasing different aspects of cultures through food, games, and other unique activities. This event is also an opportunity for the participants to interact with a diverse group of individuals from different walks of life and different backgrounds, where they can experience and understand different cultures through their own experiences.

The main structure of the event will include a festival style area, where different clubs set up stalls where they can represent the different cultures and countries their clubs represent. This event is a unique opportunity for clubs to showcase their diversity and their cultures through unique activities, games, cultural items, cultural music, and food. The event participants will be able to walk around and interact with the clubs at each stall, while also being able to interact with other participants. Since AIESEC is an international youth-run organization, we are also collaborating with international partners to create videos to educate the youth on their respective cultures and countries. We are also planning to create a ‘pen pal’ program with the international partners where the participants have a unique opportunity to communicate and build connections with youth overseas and gain an even real perspective into the specific country or region they are located in.
