This is a workshop event facillitated by the UWAMSA aimed at the Muslim population on campus. The purpose of this event is to provide Muslims with an understanding of what it means to have an Islamic identity. The event covers ideas of the responsibilities of a Muslim to God and His creations focusing on what Islam is about for a Muslim. The event will be held at Murdoch lecture theater.


We plan to have the following Muslim speakers give a lecture on the topic of Muslim identity; Osama Hassan, Nabeel Musharraf and Yahya Ibrahim.


The main purpose of this event is to learn more about what it means to be a Muslim and how we, as individuals, can foster an Islamic dentity that we can be proud of. This interactive lecture will run from 10am to 2pm. 


There will be breaks in between lectures and food that will be served for the volunteers and attendees.
