A peaceful protest against the threats to higher education/our quality of education - staff cuts, unit cuts, fee hikes, decreased library open hours, etc. Speeches will be done on Winthrop lawn by the Education Council President, Education Action Network Coordinator, and any interested individuals. This will be followed by a march through campus, and a display of all the units that have been cut this year.

The purpose of this protest is to show students that the Guild does not support measures that compromise the quality of our education, raise awareness about the changes being made at our university and educate students on how they are being affected.
