Over a million Aussies step up to clean up every year, donating their time to improve the environment. This year, the City of Melville is hosting a free event at Deep Water Point. You’ll collect litter, enjoy morning tea over a talk by the City’s Foreshore Officer and Waste Education Officer, before correctly sorting the litter collected ready for recycling and disposal. All are welcome.
When: Sun 13 March, 8:30am-11:00am
Where: Deep Water Point, near Dome Café
Bring: a hat, sunscreen and closed in shoes, tongs and gloves (if you have them, some provided)
