Deaf Awareness Teaching and Auslan Workshop.

Jenelle from WA Foundation for Deaf Children is coming to UWA to provide Deaf Awareness Teaching; covering communication, access to care and how we can as future clinicians can understand Deaf patients better and provide the best possible care. This will be followed by a short workshop covering basic Auslan signs, with the aim to give med students the skills needed to help build rapport with Deaf patients.
