BES Presents: Networking Fundamentals and Expo

The event consists of two sessions:

Networking Fundamentals 4-5pm

• A hands on workshop for university students teaching them how to network


• Will include a guest speaker from biomedical engineering industry

Networking expo 5:30-8pm

• Round table networking with 5-6 companies from biomedical engineering industry


• Students will spend 10 minutes at each table, and rotate through all tables


• This will be followed by general networking and refreshments

Purpose: to tech uni students the basics of networking and give them the opportunity to put these skills to practice. Also hoping to advertise some biomed engineering internships over the summer, as they are extremely hard to come by!
