AI Community of Inquiry with Dr Clas Weber

What (if anything) makes thinking different from mechanical computation? Is thinking something that computer programs like ChatGPT can do?

Join us for a presentation on the philosophy of mind relating to artificial intelligence by Dr Clas Weber, followed by a Community of Inquiry on the question: "Can ChatGPT think?". Clas is a UWA philosopher of mind, langauge and metaphysics who is currently researching the prospects of mind-uploading.
