New to the club or just getting started with photography? Never used a camera before or want to learn more and understand all the dials and settings?

Whether you are just beginning your photography journey or you have been using a DSLR, mirrorless or compact camera for a while and want to build your skills, this is the workshop for you!

You will get to know your camera and all the basics of photography in this first instalment of UWA Photography Club's Semester 1 Workshop series, where we will be learning the different modes and settings on your camera or phone as well as understanding shutter speed, aperture and ISO to help get the most out of your images and take them to the next level!

Plus, our helpful committee will be there to guide you along the way and answer any questions you might have. So bring your curiosity and your camera (or phone!) and get ready to master the basics!

We have DSLR cameras available to borrow for the workshop and hire out during the week if you don't have one of your own. If you have a friend with a camera and still want to learn you can even share with them!

Here's how the evening will go:

6:30pm: Workshop begins

6:45pm: Basics presentation

7:00pm: Interactive activities

7:15pm Break for Pizza!

7:30pm: Tips and tricks

7:45pm: Testing your skills

8:15pm: Workshop Finish

All experience levels welcome! Hope to see you there!
