Semester 1 Excursion Southern River College 2024

This event is an excursion to UWA for 54 of Southern River College students and 5 staff members. 23 of Ignite's volunteers as well as volunteers from three other UWA clubs, will work to coordinate and run a range of activities for Southern River College students, both inside and outside. 

The purpose of this event is to allow these students to gain an understanding of some options post high-school that interest them. Additionally, they will get a gain insight into general university life, UWA campus and future tertiary study opportunities. 

Activities:

MAPS: health science demonstration and disease quiz 

Ignite: careers course quiz activity, taken directly from our careers program 

Women's Guild: pipe-cleaner flower craft activity 

Man Up: resilience and wellbeing activity, indoor/outdoor
