The 2026 UWA Postgraduate Students’ Association (PSA) Ball is an annual formal social event for postgraduate students at the University of Western Australia. The event will be held on Friday, 30 October 2026 from 7:00 pm until late at the University Club of Western Australia.
The theme for the 2026 Ball is “A Night in Hollywood.” The event will provide postgraduate students with an opportunity to socialise, celebrate the academic year, and engage with the wider postgraduate community in a formal setting.
The event is expected to accommodate approximately 130 attendees and will include food and beverage service, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, music and entertainment, dancing, and Hollywood-themed decorations and activities. Attendees will be encouraged to dress in formal or cocktail attire consistent with the event theme.
The event is restricted to persons aged 18 years and over. Alcohol will be served in accordance with the University Club’s liquor licence and responsible service of alcohol requirements. PSA representatives and venue staff will be present throughout the event to assist with event coordination, attendee welfare, and the management of any incidents that may arise.
The Ball is organised by the UWA Postgraduate Students’ Association, with venue operations, catering, security and other relevant services coordinated in conjunction with the University Club and applicable external suppliers.
