Palestine Solidarity Week: Speakout against UWA's military ties

This speakout is part of the Palestine Solidarity Week. 

The mass destruction and devastation in Gaza is continuing - there is an ongoing humanitarian crisis and Palestinians are still facing bombardment.  We are also seeing broader imperialist aggression across the Middle East - Israel has massacred over 2,000 people in Lebanon. 

This is why we are taking a stand against the university sector's growing ties to the defence and military industry.  We don't want a world where our education is contributing to the building of weapons and military aggression in the world where ordinary people will pay the price.
