CSSC 2026 Fresher Welcome!

Come along and meet the team behind the Computer Science Students Club. We are a student run club and faculty society centred around all things technology and internet culture. We run fun social and professional events to help students connect to staff, industry leaders and like-minded people on and off campus. So come along and find out what our club is all about and how we can help you make the most of your life at university, you dont even need to be a computer science student to join!

Taking place will also be our first Ordinary General Meeting of the year where we elect students to serve on our committee and take an active role in shaping the club over the course of the year. 

When & where is the event:

The event will take place in E-Zone Industry Hub Room 113 on the 4th of March 2026. 

Who is welcome: 

Everybody is welcome, including freshers and existing students. You dont need to be a computer science student to join or find value in the club. 

What can we do for you:

  • Provide a space in the Computer Science building to study and chat. 
  
  
  • Find peers with similar interests to talk and collobrate with. 
  
  
  • Act as the bridge between students and staff in the CSSE department. 
  
  
  • Hold fun social events such as games night and lasertag. 
  
  
  • Hold professional networking events with faculty and industry leaders. 
  
  
  • Provide information about job opportunites and career events in Perth.
