Biomed Kitchen Presentation

We are lucky to be hearing from Michael Smith, the founder and director of Biomed Kitchen, a consultancy for remote and global health based in Central Australia. He will be discussing design projects for remote Aboriginal desert dialysis, and providing a valuable insight into the developing biomedical engineering industry in Australia, from the perspective of a start up focussed on on design, R&D, specialised tech support, and capacity building. Their Training As A Service (TAAS) model is centred around improving the technical skills of their workers to support the long-term health of the remote medical infastructure.
