The Guild Women’s Department  (in collaboration with several wonderful clubs on campus) is proud to present a series of informative and inspiring events over weeks 6 and 7! Join us to celebrate the achievements of women and  discuss  the societal challenges still facing us.

Schedule

Tuesday 4th April, 12pm-1pm | Women in Politics discussion panel with Envoy UWA

Tuesday 4th April, 5pm-6pm and 6pm-7pm | Free Self Defence Classes  with Rhee Taekwon-do (for women and non-binary students only)

Wednesday 5th April, 7.30pm-10pm | A Celebration of Women Composers with the UWA Music Students’ Society

Thursday 6th April, 6pm-8pm | He Named Me Malala movie screening with Amnesty International UWA

Tuesday 11th April, 12pm-2pm | Women’s Week Wrap-Up bake sale, t-shirt printing and stalls with the Science Union and more
