Club Executive Training

Treasurer Training 

This is highly essential (and compulsory) training for Club Treasurers (or a suitable replacement upon request). It trains you in budgeting, managing club finances, how to apply for club grants and how to make the best use of the financial services provided by Guild Finance.

Student Leadership Training 

Student Leadership Training (SLT) is a FREE One-day course offered by the Guild to equip students with the skills needed to become confident and effective leaders.

At least two executive committee members from each affiliated club, including the President, must complete SLT. 

Certification is valid for three years. 

No more SLT training dates available in 2026.

First Aid Training

The Guild has secured discounted First Aid training in Provide First Aid, HLTAID011 for Clubs, Societies and FacSoc members through St John Ambulance WA.

First Aid training is a great skill to have in any situation and is highly recommended for all students. 

Participants who successfully complete the requirements of this course will receive the following certification: 

• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid 

• HLTAID010 Basic Emergency Life Support 

• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
