The UWA Artificial Intelligence Club is a student-led organisation welcoming students from all disciplines and experience levels, whether technical or non-technical. We believe AI literacy is becoming essential across every industry, and we are committed to ensuring UWA students are equipped for that reality.
At our core, we are dedicated to understanding and sharing what is happening in the world of artificial intelligence. This includes exploring the latest developments, examining real-world applications, and fostering informed discussion about the direction of the technology.
Our primary focus is upskilling students to be AI-ready for their careers. We provide practical knowledge and hands-on experience that members can apply regardless of their degree or prior background.
We are also committed to building a strong and inclusive community for individuals who are curious about AI, whether their interest is academic, professional, or personal.
Throughout the year, we run a range of programs and events including hands-on workshops, Summer and Winter project programs, industry networking nights, guest speaker sessions, and much more.
