Christian Healthcare Students

CHS is a community of healthcare students who are committed to following Christ above all else by serving others and making him known.

CHS, formerly SMA (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego), is a Guild-affiliated club at the University of Western Australia. It was started in 1992 by a group of 3 medical students who recognised the challenges of being Christ-centered in a busy healthcare environment with suffering and meritocracy.

Since then, CHS has included students of varying healthcare backgrounds from the different universities in WA so as to have our identity, not on what we practice, but based on Jesus Christ.
