Cheerleading Society of UWA (CSU) is the University of Western Australia’s first cheerleading team.

Cheerleading is a fun, high energy sport. It incorporates dance, showmanship, strength, flexibility and team work all in one.

We offer cheerleading training to all ages and at all different levels - from beginner to advanced. No experience is necessary - our coaches work with each individual to help develop their skills.

Although we provide general cheerleading training and performance opportunities, we have begun to develop an elite squad who travel to compete at both state and national competitions.

In 2017 we will be competing at Australian University Games on the Gold Coast as well as other local competitions. CSU is strongly a community based club and love supporting other clubs, teams, sports, events etc. We provide a safe and friendly environment for like-minded students to have fun together outside of university and many of our members have created bonds that go beyond cheerleading.

If you want to meet new people, learn a new skill, perform or simply increase your fitness this is the club for you! For more information or a registration pack contact us on Facebook or email cheeruwa@gmail.com.

We would love to welcome any new members to our squad and are looking forward to CHEERful 2017.
